Leslie Belitz, Speech Language Pathologist
Leslie Belitz is a National and New Mexico State Certified Speech and Language Pathologist. She brings to work an attitude of love and acceptance for her clients and the families that trust their precious children with her. She has over thirty years experience working as a speech and language therapist with children and adults. She respects the challenges and gifts of all her clients and designs the therapy activities to help met the unique communication needs of each adult or child on her service. Leslie is proud to work at Easy and welcomes clients of all ages and needs.
Diane Boehm, Physical Therapist
Diane is a native New Yorker who moved to New Mexico in 2000. She earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin where she graduated in Social Work in 1968. Diane traveled for 3 years in Europe and Asia upon graduating college. She received her certification from The Physical Therapy Program at Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in the School of Allied Health Sciences in 1977. She has been working as a physical therapist ever since she became licensed in 1978. Diane took the 8 week NDT (Neuro-Developmental Training) course and became certified in 1986. She has enjoyed working in a variety of settings, i.e. hospital, preschool, doctor’s office, pediatric skilled nursing facility and rehab. center, public schools, hippotherapy and home care. She has a passion for horses and loves to horseback ride, ski, work in her vegetable garden, travel and read a good book. She has a 32 year old daughter, who lives in Brooklyn, NY. Diane is very grateful for the opportunity and the privilege to work with such dedicated staff and committed families at the EASi clinic.
Cynthia Cadman, Speech Language Pathologist
Cynthia graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Eastern New Mexico University and with a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University. She has have been a speech language pathologist for 15 years. Cynthia has experience in Birth-3, preschool, multiply impaired, elementary school, and DD waiver. She is adept in communication, articulation, language, augmentative communication, and working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Angela Corona, Speech Language Pathologist
Angela has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist for seven years. Her experience includes school-based therapy, clinic therapy and home therapy services. She has worked with many different populations including students with articulation disorders, language disorders, learning disabilities, autism, fragile x syndrome, Downs Syndrome and Deaf and hard of hearing. She has spent the past four years with a focus on providing a variety of therapy and evaluation services for students who are Deaf and hard of hearing.
Sarah Girard, Occupational Therapist
Sarah Girard is an Occupational Therapist with 14 years of experience working with Pediatric , Adult, and Elderly populations. She graduated with a BS in Occupational Therapy from Texas Tech University. Sarah has worked in Clinic, Hospital, Community, and School settings. She is certified in the use of Interactive Metronome. Sarah uses an eclectic approach drawing on knowledge including Sensory Processing, Neurodevelopmental Treatment, and Handwriting Without Tears. Sarah’s experience includes Hippo therapy and Driving Rehab. She enjoys working with families to meet individual goals. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys belly dancing, learning to drum, and having adventures with her 5 yr old daughter.
Mary Hunt M.A. CCC- SLP- Bilingual speech/Language
Pathologist.
Bachelors degree in Speech Pathology from The University of Redlands; Masters of Arts degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from California State University, Los Angeles. 40 years of experience working with children and adults with a wide range of communicative disorders in a variety of settings including: Acute Hospitals, Rehabilitation Hospitals, Schools, Home Health Care, Long Term Nursing Facilities and Private Practice. Areas of expertise include: Speech/language impaired; Developmental Delay; Articulation; Fluency; Traumatic Brain Injured, Medically Fragile; Swallowing disorders; Stroke; Bilingual testing and treatment.
Elda Pinsonneault, Occupational Therapist
Elda, originally from Brownsville Texas, graduated from the UTSA Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas with a BS in Occupational Therapy. She began her career with EASi in 1981 with the Grants Cibola County Schools. Over the years she has worked in 18 different school districts or school entities in NM through EASi. Primarily experience has been in the schools systems. Other settings of service include home based DD waiver and FIT intervention and working in the EASi clinic since the summer of 2009. Certifications include Interactive Metronome, Infant Massage and Therapeutic Listening. Primary focus in working with clients is on sensory processing deficits, fine motor skill development and hand writing skills. She has enjoyed working in the classroom consulting with teachers and parents on “sensory diets” and strategies to help children better participate in the school curriculum. Elda has been married 27 years and has 3 grown children.
